Saturday 31st January
Me and dad went to empty the compost bins and harvested salsify, carrots, parsnip and a plant of brussel sprouts.

Wednesday 21st January
Mum and dad harvested carrots, parsnips, salsify, beetroot, cabbage, swede, turnips and leeks. Brought home two carrier bags of rotten potatoes off fire pile and binned them.

Thursday 15th January
Mum and dad went down with compost. Brought home cauliflower leaves for chickens.

Saturday 10th January
A light Sussex chicken laid her first egg today (40grams) very small, hope they get bigger!

Thursday 8th January
Mum and dad harvested, carrots, parsnips, salsify, leeks, swedes and turnips.
