Sunday 23rd July
Mum and dad went down in the afternoon, harvested some more and weeded around the onions.

Friday 21st July
Me, mum and dad went down in the morning. Mum and dad watered in the greenhouse, continued levelling for the new greenhouse and mum harvested lots more including peas, mange tout, broad beans, French beans, courgettes, cucumbers and two tomatoes. I measured the greenhouse and the pieces of glass that we have for it to see what we need to buy. I also chopped down the weeds coming up on the edge of the top plot near the carrots.

Wednesday 19th July
Me and dad went and fed the tomatoes and cucumbers and close up the greenhouse.

Tuesday 18th July
Me, mum and dad went in the morning before it heated up to finish assembling the greenhouse framing.
Me and Sarah went on bikes to water in the evening with the hose because it is very dry at the moment!

Monday 17th July
Me, mum and dad went in the morning before it heated up to start assembling the greenhouse frame.

Sunday 16th July
We all went down and harvested, weeded a little and generally tidied around a little.
Harvested potato, raspberries, French beans and haricot beans (look very similar... are they the same?), mange tout, peas, a couple of strawberries the first cucumber (although it was small) and some courgettes.

Harvested produce

Friday 14th July
Me, mum and dad went down and cleared the area where sticks had been piled and chopped it down. This will be for the greenhouse when we manage to clear the stones that we started moving from a mound at one and and hole at the other.

Wednesday 12th July
Me, mum and dad weeded in the morning and then me and mum dismantled a greenhouse and took it down in the afternoon. Took about 3 trips in my new car to take it and the glass, not sure if the glass is complete because it was not in when we went, but it was free! Many thanks to freecycle (www.freecycle.org)!

Tuesday 11th July
Me, mum and dad went and watered and did some weeding at the plot.

Sunday 9th July
Me, mum and dad went to the plot and watered, weeded and harvested.

Saturday 8th July

Wednesday 5th July
Mum and dad weeded the bottom plot and harvested dwarf french beans.

Tuesday 4th July
Me, mum and dad went in the morning to put canes up to support the greenhouse shading. Mum harvested raspberries and got two boxes full and a few strawberries and weeded around haricot beans. Dad cut the grass, weeded and other bits around the place. I sowed a hem onto each piece of netting using fishing line so that it would not rot with time the same as cotton. These could then be threaded onto a cane in the roof. Unfortunately they are too wide now because they don't overlap when on a cane like the did when I put them on the mountings that they came with.
Mum and dad went in the evening and planted in pots 8x cabbage (4x greyhound and 4x golden acre). They weeded and planted a row of peas (kelvdon wonder).

Sunday 2nd July
Mum and dad went down on bikes. Mum planted 4 courgettes, 8 kohl rabi (lanro), 4 turnip (golden ball), 4 cauliflower (andes), 4 cabbage (capricorn), 4 lettuce (balmoral), 4 lettuce (ATYR) and 4 leaf salad. Dad planted 2 half rows of radish (scarlet globe and french breakfast), hoed and watered.
Harvested one more potato plant, a turnip, a kohl rabi, spinach and strawberries.
